At least they aren’t dark blue like they proposed in a web vote poll thing I posted about. Still kind of boring.
Practical edition. 4.0 5 speed 4x4
Very nostalgic going into a Family Video store to rent Jurassic Park. On the way I explained the PG of PG-13. Explaining that only parents are allowed to decide if their kids under 13 should be able to watch the movie. Annabelle didn’t want to wait 5 more years, so she is going to be scared.
Government mandated class to be able to get an asbestos professional state license. Less on that, I have a long list of things to do and my goal is Moab or Colorado for kids spring break (week leading up to st. Patrick’s Day)
$4 for the canvas patent print. Then picked up the 934 right after at Target. Edit: just looked it up and it’s a real thing. http://patentimages.storage.googleapis.com/pdfs/USD310187.pdf
An end over end and two barrel rolls. Don’t swerve for deer. Hit them. He has only a sore wrist.
I need to put these photos somewhere. As to not forget.
But a nice Saturday in the country with a golf country. Also as some may know, I’ve started a Diecast themed IG account where I’ll likely be uploading most things there and sharing them here. link at bottom
If you are stealing the catalytic converter, just a jack will do.
Only took a couple hours to pull the front axle. Was easier because I left the calipers attached to the Jeep. They will get looked over next week and I’ll go from there.
Of happenings. Pulled the rear axle today since I was off work. I’m going to go with the POR15 route but before that I’ll take it to an off-road shop to have them checked out before paint if I have to reweld the shock mounts ( see photo) bilstien 5150’s should have a bit more up travel I think. And need bump stops.…
I’m about to get my XJ road & off-road ready again and the axles weren’t painted with much care when installed. I’ve had it as one of the first things I do to get it going again. Any other options that’d be as good or better?
Just some random cars that are Porsches that I took some photos of that fit the theme. This first one is paired with a local donut shop Strange Donuts, this ones the Fat Elvis. Banana creme filled, topped w/ peanut butter glaze and chocolate sprinkles. I ate into the sprinkles to get to the filing shown here.
A couple quick shots on the spool & in the sun to get in on this months theme. Original feature post linked below.
Another year for the company golf tournament and I brought some off-roading diecasts. I also brought the explorer to my family’s weekend getaway in the lead photo. (Submitted that photo to the google maps)
Inspired by a Hotwheels Instagram post a while back, I picked up a organizer at Walmart. Screwed it to my garage wall and added Diecasts. Was kind of cheap and really easy.
I got a call yesterday that I was needed to get into the crawl space and remove the insulation that the other guys couldn’t get in. House is for sale ($199,000) but no one would buy it with the friable ACM in the basement. The house is in Hannibal, MO home of Mark Twain author of Huckleberry Finn and other stories.
I picked this up at a goodwill for 50¢ I think it was an Avon brand or something. My dad has a desk and I don’t. But this isn’t really a desk, it’s the window sill, and I’m going to keep dropping off muscle cars probably until and continuing after he notices.
I was thinking I was going to skip this event, and I was just going to do a random post, but I noticed this lambo sitting on my dresser.
