Just a reminder that you can find lots of car content on my Instagram (@MarquetteLa), but also I just started a new IG account dedicated to my virtual car photography in Gran Turismo Sport (@DigitalMarq). Carry on!

This is my FIA-accredited (lol) championship esports race from Gran Turismo Sport a few weeks ago. 14 laps around Suzuka in the 2017 Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 car, alongside 17 other drivers on the grid. I secured pole position by 0.743 seconds, but things get spicy on the second lap.
A wheelchair cannot fit through this space. A person using crutches could not safely pass by. An elderly person should not have to walk across loose stones on a slope (slope not seen well in the photo) to get by a parked pickup truck. This is not even a particularly large truckbed. You may not use the sidewalk, but…
Let’s cool off with my most popular YouTube video (9k views in 4 years, ooooooooo)
From the second run of the day. Overcast skies meant cold track temps in the morning, which meant for some slidey action.
A friend of mine was cleaning out his watch collection a few months ago and sent me a couple of cheap quartzes that he didn’t wear anymore. After swapping out the battery and taking a link out of the bracelet, I’m wearing this Citizen for the first time today.
And I’m not talking about the GT-R.
I spotted the cars above directly after pulling off the road to get a closer look at this DeTomaso Pantera I saw parked at the local auto shop.
Stretch Miata formerly owned by drifter Danny George, now owned by Pikes Peak International Raceway president Bob Boileau.
Helped my roommate go out and buy a brand-new 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000 on Saturday. I don’t know much about bikes myself, but I do know that 199 horsepower from a vehicle weighing less than 500 lbs is fucking fast.
Why do I not see any modded Bajas around? I saw a stock Baja a few days ago and I got the urge to buy one and make it into a hot ute. I’m not much of a Subaru guy and WRXs and STIs are a dime a dozen in Colorado, but the UTE CALLS TO ME. Is there an aftermarket for these cars? A cursory Wikipedia glance tells me the…
This state I’ve decided to call home is absolutely gorgeous. Here’s some of my photography from the past four years which is improved quite a bit by the natural landscape. Thar be cars and mountains ahead. No regrets about leaving the south.
Right in the first verse:
Around this time last month, I drove my Mazdaspeed6 from Longmont, Colorado to Lynchberg, Tennessee to visit a good friend of mine and, get some relaxation in, and see & do some cool car stuff.
Gotta love VPNs.
Spotted in my usual lunch spot. Never seen one of these cute little guys in the wild before.
It’s been rainy in Boulder lately. I just got my telephoto lens repaired. Thus I have this photograph to share with you all.
The first championship round of Pikes Peak International Raceway’s Time Attack series took place almost two weeks ago so here I am to talk about it. That’s me up there in the green Miata running in RB, the slow RWD class. There were 72 drivers in my class and 272 drivers overall. Lots of cars.
