Before, day 0:
Throws a P0172 code, runs too rich to drive, and promptly falls flat on its face less than 2 miles after leaving work. Co-worker’s manual B4000 saves my ass as a favor for me helping me fix his truck in the past. Father and son project is a go!
A 2000 model-year Toyota Tacoma regular cab 4-cylinder 2WD automatic with 252,535 miles.
I recorded this yesterday at the Grand Strand Model Rail Road Club in Myrtle Beach, SC. I just so happened to meet the admin of their Facebook group and he accepted my request: to run my GoPro Hero2 on my six-axle lowboy flatcar. I had to record this in portrait mode since the GoPro is too wide to fit clear the…
Paging E90M3, I believe you were looking for a E46, weren’t you? This one is in Lexington, SC. The car is nice, I’ve been around it a few times. It does well in autocross but is taken care of outside of those events. Yes, it’s a manual.
The company I work for is hosting a Christmas Party tomorrow night and they’re asking for everyone to bring toy donations to go to a good cause. Not really wanting to spend money on new toys, I’ve decided to give those kids a cool present they may appreciate: old un-opened Hot Wheels from nearly a decade ago! Two…
[Update: I went back, looked under the passenger-front corner where it had taken a hit, and the frame is slightly bent. NOPE. And that ends that!]
Miatas, Nationals-winning Lotus Elise XP-class autocross car, Aerovault trailer #01, and cool cars from yesterday’s autocross.
Three other local SCCA autocrossers and myself took our cars (3 Miatas and the Avalanche) to this event which is 50% car show and 50% BBQ contest sampling. I don’t any any pics of the BBQ but one of those contestants was DAMN GOOD.
I got nothing, enjoy the pics!
It doesn’t matter if you race Logano clean for all of the race, he raced you dirty in the last corner on the last lap. Stop letting people walk over you and get aggressive. You threw it all away.
I have no idea if you’re in the market for one, but since you’re looking at E46s...well, here’s an E36. It’ll be for sale in SC.
A member on the Miata.net forums is selling their:
I actually know the owner of this Roush through autocrossing and he’s a nice fellow in person but his Facebook posts...damn, man, they better be paying you for these tagged posts. Like, EVERY car-related post of his has ludicrous-amounts of tags on it.
There’s taking a picture of your computer screen with your phone...and then there’s taking a picture of an actual photograph of “your” car. Bonus points for being really grainy and giving us a glimpse of that bar. Price is acceptable to low CP in my book.
Hide your kids, hide your wife, hide your cars!
OF COURSE YOU FU**ING WANT ONE! The hardtop alone can be resold for $1k!
I don’t care if you’re being tailgated and they’re flashing LED high-beams at you. Brake-checking them isn’t going to improve the situation. If anything, it’ll probably cause them to escalate their road rage. In this day and age who knows how short tempers are to pulling out a gun and getting shot or rammed off the…
TL;DR: random person trusts random people from internet, meets said people deep in mountains, doesn’t get harmed and has a fun time. Thank you for hosting this, Ike!
It was better than watching IMSA. I haven’t been that tense for that many laps in a long time!
